Internship at paraillel
UI/UX Design Intern
Summer of 2023
During my two month summer internship in 2023, I worked with Paraillel, a start-up based in Detroit, Michigan. They aim to leverage the power of AI to provide educational resources and tools to school districts with minimal funding. In my brief stint with the company, I was responsible for creating a design system, lead a team of interns to develop the calendar page website, edited infographics for clear understanding of the information, and ensuring that information was effectively communicated among the teams to avoid any misunderstandings.

CALENDAR mockups
The first image is a basic low fidelity wireframe for the homepage of the Paraillel website with respected responsive screens (iPhone, tablet, and desktop). The second image is a mockup of the calendar I created and presented to the team. From the team critique, we included the clean layout from my design with the colorful color scheme from another designer. That is all shown in the third and final mockup image. Created in Figma.
Infographic
Reorganize & Edit
This is the final edit of an infographic I editted to inform of live networking events and how users can move ahead in their career. There’s better separation of information as to not overload the reader by applying Von Restorff Effect, Tesler’s Law, Picture Superiority Effect, and Law of Proximity. Made in Canva.
